Lindsay Vonn Rocks!

I really can't imagine flying down a mountain as fast as Lindsay Vonn. Lindsay Vonn won the Women's Downhill gold medal yesterday after nursing a bruised chin shin the last couple of weeks. Nope can't imagine it... I realize it's not remotely possible, but sometimes it's fun to imagine. In fact, tonight I tried downhill on the Wii and maxed at 22 mph. A far cry from the downhill of Lindsay porportion. Her kind of speed would bring that out of control feeling I've never learned to love.

The one and only ski event (I won't call it a race) I stumbled into was a disaster. Absolute disaster. Years ago at Mount Holly. In fact, those who were lucky enough to witness it later referred to my participation as the Pink Nightmare. How I wish that was an exaggeration... Sorry no pics of this one. Trust me, it's a fortunate thing.
