Alpaca UBI - How do you transport an Alpaca?

Alpacas are stress resistant so they load and travel calmly. Get this, they can even be transported in the family mini van, station wagon, utility vehicle, or horse trailer. Now, this is is my favorite thing and something everyone should know... Some breeders have been known to transport their alpacas in small planes. Once on its way, the alpaca lies down and enjoys the ride.

What do Alpacas eat? Alpacas eat pasture grasses and when these are not available, they eat low protein hay, supplemented with a small amount of grain. Alpacas have a multiple stomach digestive system, much like a cow. Just in case you ever wondered...hmmmmm
